Retired Lt. Bill Hunt: 414 50.24%
Sheriff Sandra Hutchens 220 26.70%
Deputy Chief Craig Hunter 99 12.02%
No Endorsement 91 11.04%
Retired Lt. Bill Hunt receives the AOCDS-PAC endorsement for the 2010 election for Orange County Sheriff-Coroner.

This is a huge win for Hunt and a significant blow to Acting Sheriff Sandra Hutchens. It doesn't mean much for Anaheim PD's Deputy Chief Craig Hunter who is supported and backed by cronies from feloniously corrupt sheriff Mike Carona and company. Frankly, I think many would have been surprised if Hunt didn't get the endorsement from the rank and file. The deputies know that Hunt is a solid, fair, and respected leader.
